Founded in 1911 we are one of the oldest Bowls Clubs in Wiltshire. The first recorded match was played on Wednesday 25th may 1912 on the Rowing Club site, from which we moved in 1966 as it was adjacent to the river Avon at Barton Farm and subject to flooding. Culver Close is situated in a country park close to the river surrounded by open fields and tree-lined games areas and is the ideal spot for a bowls green.

We do however have parking problems at peak times.

As a club we have a strong social side with teams in several Mens, Ladies and Mixed leagues together with many friendly matches during the season.

You can find us at Culver Close off Frome Road at the end of Pound Lane with parking in the station car park. Post code BA15 1LF. You'll find maps below, on this page.

At the present time we have around 25 Men, 12 Ladies, and 10 Social members; any new members would be made very welcome. Membership application forms can be obtained by contacting our club secretary, as per the Club Contacts page.

Our subscription for the Season will be £100 for full members with a discounted £40 for new members when they join. Social Members £10 (+£30 to bowl on a Friday Night as a Restricted member).
