Village Activities in 2010 image Thanks go to the volunteers who spent their Saturday morning repairing the footpath alongside the Playing Field in March.

The volunteers were mostly Bulkington villagers, but included one visitor from Cornwall, Colin Prisk who was staying in the village for the weekend.

Pictured here with Colin are David Whiteley, John Scott, Sian and Andy Stables, and Calum Ogilvie. Also among the village helpers but not pictured here was Ian Bell, and Wiltshire Senior Rights of Way Warden Paul Millard and his contractor. Also not pictured here but taking the photograph was Tony Bradford who organised the morning's volunteer event and who worked tirelessly throughout the morning with shovel, barrow and a strong back.

Thanks also to Sally Oliphant for the use of her motorised wheelbarrow, without which we would all have been a lot more bushed.
