Owners of The Well at Bulkington, Tim and Sam Taylor carried out a major refurbishment to include an excellent new restaurant. The Well re-opened it’s doors in October 2009.

Tim and Sam have their own website, where you can find a menu to suit all tastes and a good selection of real ales.

Village Hall - corner of Mill Lane/High St

In recent years the Village Hall committee have secured funding to carry out a number of improvements to the hall and the car park.
The Hall is available for hire at £10 per session for parties, exercise classes, and many other social activities. If you are interested making a booking contact Roger Futter on 01380 828485

Village Playing Field - Wickleaze Lane

William Breach Centenary Playing Field Wickleaze Lane, Bulkington

The Field was donated to the Parish by William Breach on 10 February 2006 for the enjoyment of the whole village.

The objectives of the Playing Field Committee in managing the Field are:

• to provide a safe environment where people of all ages can meet and play

• to maintain the field, any equipment and infrastructure so that it is fit for purpose

• to improve the field, in keeping with the village, ensuring villagers have the opportunity to consult where appropriate

Please make use of this service or face losing it! There is a very real threat of the library service being withdrawn if it is not used by enough people.

The railway offers sit on train rides and can be hired (subject to weather conditions) together with the village hall for children's birthday parties. For more information contact The Station Master, Nev Boulton, on 01380 828101

All monies raised go towards village hall funds and other worthy charitable causes.
