Westbury Ham and Dilton

Christopher Newbury first represented the town of Westbury from May, 1997, standing as an Independent when it was a one-member County Council division. Since May, 2005, the town has been divided between two county divisions, each electing one member: Westbury Ham & Dilton and Westbury Laverton & Shearwater.

Westbury Ham is the western part of Westbury and is combined with Dilton Marsh and Heywood Storridge for county elections.

The boundary within the town of Westbury is along the A350 and the A3098 (see main through- roads coloured red and running north- east/south-west on the map), except that Westbury Ham includes both sides of the A350 between the Market Place and the junction with the High Street, as well as the whole of Maristow Street and Cannon Green.

The division also includes the whole parish of Dilton Marsh, which takes in Fairwood, Penleigh, Bremeridge, Chalcot, Stourton Bushes and part of Old Dilton.

Heywood Storridge is a parish ward of Heywood and includes Storridge Road, Hawkeridge Park, Glenmore, and the northern side of The Ham.
