The Queensway Chapel Family Centre aims to provide a caring and welcoming environment for young children and their families through a variety of activities.
We meet at Queensway Hall which is at the junction of Pembroke Road with Queensway (opposite Queensway Chapel).
Queensway Hall has a large car park so there is plenty of parking available.

Monday.
Toddlers: from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, during school term time only.
Toddlers is an opportunity for parents/carers and children to play, chat, form friendships and find support. Light refreshments are provided.
In-betweenies: from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, during school term time only.
In-betweenies bridges the gap for babies between finishing the postnatal course and starting to walk. An enclosed soft play area is provided especially for you and your baby until your baby is one year old or walking. Light refreshments are provided.
Twins Club: from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, on the first and third Mondays of the month, during school term time.
Twins Club is a social event for twin-babies and their parents where they have the opportunity to meet other. Light refreshments are provided.
Polish Stay & Play: from
1:30pm to 3:00pm, on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, during school term time only.
An opportunity for Polish parents/carers to encourage their under fives by having fun and learning together with crafts and messy play. Light refreshments are provided.
Tuesday.
Child Health Clinic: from 9:30am to 11:45am.
An opportunity to have one of the NHS Health Visitors check the development of your child and for you to seek their advice, should you need to do so.
Stay & Play: from 1:15pm to 2:45pm, during school term time only.
Stay & Play is an opportunity for parents/carers to encourage their under fives by having fun and learning together with crafts and messy play. Light refreshments are provided.
Wednesday.
Parenting Program: from 1:00pm to 2:00pm for eight weeks starting 29th April 2009.
This is a course which lasts 8 weeks. Prior booking is necessary because there are a limited number of places. If you require more information or wish to book please contact the Family Centre using the contact details provided on this page.
Chill Out: from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, during school term time only.
A small group of children are cared for whilst parents 'chill out' and recharge their batteries in a child free zone. An opportunity to put your feet up, relax with a cuppa, read or chat with other parents.

Thursday.
Child Minders: from 10:00am to noon.
This is an opportunity for child minders to meet and support each other.
Tots Praise: Every Thursday from 10:45am to 11:30am.
Tots Praise takes place every week and is for under fives with their parents/carers. The programme involves interactive songs and stories with a Christian perspective. This is followed by refreshments and play and craft activities and a bring-your-own lunch until 1:00pm.
Teeny Weenies: from 1:30pm to 3:00pm, during school term time only.
Teeny Weenies is a postnatal support group for parents with young babies. Light refreshments are provided.
