Sunday Services at Queensway Chapel

Regular services each Sunday at 10:00am and 6:30pm

We hold two services on a Sunday: a morning service at 10:00am and Communion in the evening at 6:30pm. Services are followed by light refreshments.

On the first Sunday of each month we hold Shine, which is specifically aimed at adults with learning disabilities.

Please see below for more details about all our Sunday services.

Sunday Morning, 10:00am

Our 10:00am service will either be Morning Worship or a Family Service. In either instance a full young people's programme is provided.

Morning Worship (10:00am): We begin with everyone being together for the first 10-15 minutes after which the young people go to their own activities while the remaining adults follow their own programme of worship and teaching.

Family Service (10:00am): Adults and children stay together as we participate in 'inclusive' worship and teaching aimed at all ages.

Sunday Evening, 6:30pm

Evening Service, 6:30pm, Communion (Breaking of Bread): This is an 'open' service in two senses. Firstly, all who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are welcome to participate in Communion. Secondly, anyone may contribute as led by the Holy Spirit.

'Shine' a Causeway Prospects style service, first Sunday every month at 3:00pm

'Shine' takes place on the first Sunday of every month. It starts at 3:00pm, lasts about an hour, and is followed by tea.

'Shine' is a Causeway Prospects style service. All activities are aimed at meeting the needs of adults who have learning disabilities. Sung worship includes Makaton signing.

Although 'Shine' takes place at Queensway Chapel it is run by Christians from different Churches working together.
