Whats On
We offer a variety of regular activities in order to meet the varied needs of our diverse congregation.
Sunday:
Morning Service at 10:00am including young people's: programme.
Evening Service at 6:30pm.
Shine: First Sunday every month at 3:00pm. Shine is a Causeway Prospects style service at for adults with learning disabilities. Followed by tea.
Monday:
Toddlers: from 10:00am to noon
during school term time. An opportunity
for parents/carers and children to play,
chat, form friendships and find support.
In-betweenies: from 10:00am to noon
during school term time. Enclosed
soft-play facilities for babies between
post-natal and toddling.
Twins Club: from 1:00pm to 2:30pm on
the first and third of the month Mondays
during school term
time. An opportunity
to meet with other parents of twins. A
social event for babies and for parents.
Polish Stay & Play: from 1:30pm to
3:00pm on the second and fourth Mondays
of the month
during school term time. An opportunity
to encourage your under fives and learn
together with crafts, and messy play.
Word Up: meets during school term
time, 6:30-7:30pm for school years 6 &
7; and 7:45-8:45pm for school years 7 & 8.
5-a-side Soccer: for young
people in year 10+ and adults. Meets at
8:00pm for one hour at George
Ward Sports Hall on alternate weeks
during the Autumn and Spring school terms.
Tuesday:
Child Health Clinic: from 9:30am to
11:45am. An opportunity top have one of
the NHS Health Visitors check the
development of your child and for you to
seek advice, should you need to do so.
Open House: 10:00am to 2:00pm
(closed during August). An opportunity
for you to drop in at the Chapel to
meet, eat and chat with others from the
local community. As well as a friendly
atmosphere and a 'listening ear' light
lunches are served.
Stay & Play: from 1:15pm to 2:45pm
during school term time. An opportunity
to encourage your under fives and learn
together with crafts, and messy play.
Baby Massage: from 1:00pm to 2:30pm
during school term time. An appointment
is required as spaces are limited.
House Groups: meet between 7:30pm
and 9:30pm for fellowship, prayer and
Bible study.
Powerhouse: On the last
Tuesday of the month we meet for Prayer
& Praise from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
Wednesday:
Chill Out: from 1:00pm to 2:30pm
during school term time. An appointment
is required as spaces are limited.
Parenting Programme: from 1:00pm to
2:00pm. This is an 8 week course which
starts on 29th April 2009. Places are
limited so it is necessary to book in
advance. Please contact the Family
Centre if you want to know more
information or if you want to book.
House Groups: meet between 7:30pm
and 9:30pm for fellowship, prayer and
Bible study.
Thursday:
Child Minders: 10:00am-noon on the last Thursday of every month. This is an opportunity for child minders to meet and support one another.
Tots Praise: 10:45am-11:30am, followed by play, craft and lunch till 1:00pm.
Teenie Weenies: from 1:30-3:00pm during school term time. A postnatal support group for parents with young babies.
Songs of Praise: is held at 2:30pm and lasts about an hour. It is followed by light refreshments and an opportunity for a chat.
Ys Up: (school years 2, 3, 4 & 5): meets during school term time from 6:00-7:15pm.
House Groups: meet between 7:30pm and 9:30pm for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
Weekly Prayer Meeting: from 7:30pm for about an hour.
Friday:
Friday Fellowship: meets between 10:30am and 12:00 noon for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
Chairobics: meets in Queensway Hall between 12:30 and 2:30pm. As the name suggests, it is an exercise class for those who are less mobile. It is followed by light refreshments and a chat. A small charge is made to cover costs.
FUSED: from 7:30 to 9:00pm for fun and games.
Saturday:
