Duncan Hames MP

Duncan Hames is the Liberal Democrat MP for the Chippenham constituency. This covers the towns of Corsham, Bradford on Avon, Melksham and Chippenham itself, as well as neighbouring parishes including Lacock, Neston, Gastard around Corsham, Bowerhill, Beanacre, Shaw and Whitley in Melksham Without, Atworth, Broughton Gifford, Holt, South Wraxall, Monkton Farleigh, Winsley, Limpley Stoke, Westwood, Staverton, Semington, Hilperton and much of Paxcroft Mead.

Before his election to Parliament, Duncan who lives in Holt, served our community as a West Wiltshire District Councillor, a governor at Westwood with Iford and Geroge Ward Schools, and in the establishment of the Wiltshire Involvement Network for Health and Social Care. A Chartered Maagement Accountant, his former business, Chippenham Consultants Limited, was a member of the Wessex Association of Chamber of Commerce. Duncan also served on the Board of the South West of England Regional Development Agency for six years, the last two of which chairing its Audit Committee.
