This is a wonderful Grade II listed cottage, lovingly restored from an old forge and positioned in the grounds of a country house in Heytesbury. Only about half an hour’s drive from the cathedral city of Salisbury and about 40 minutes from the Georgian city of Bath,the cottage is a great base from which to explore.
Also nearby are the New Forest and the Cotswolds, accessible in under an hour. Closer by in the village are two pubs, a church and a Post Office.
The Old Forge Cottage is fitted to a very high specification throughout and provides spacious sleeping and living areas for couples or a small family. The property has a gated, gravelled garden area with a barbecue to the rear. Use of hard tennis court by arrangement.
