Townswomen's Guilds have been established since 1929 and have over 80,000 members within 1,600 guilds and 114 federations around the UK and British Isles. Townswomen's Guilds are groups of women who meet together regularly, regardless of politics, race, age, religion or circumstance, to participate in various activities including:
- To exchange ideas and views
- Develop new skills and interests
- Campaign on various issues
- Support each other
- Make new friends
- Above all, have fun.
In addition to the regular local meeting members can get involved in any of our national events such as:
- Craft workshops
- Ceramic painting
- Sports and Leisure Activities
- and many more things
