Humorous semi-staged presentations and lively narrations have guaranteed audience enjoyment in more than 130 Opera Piccola performances since 1988. Programmes include favourite excerpts from a range of opera, operetta and oratorio, and are designed to appeal to a wide audience.

Opera Piccola has also mounted fully staged productions of complete operas, including The Magic Flute. A full length work, Winter Nights, was commissioned by and written specially for the group to perform in celebration of the Millenium.

Opera Piccola has performed at many locations around the South, including Bath, Southampton, Andover and Iford Manor near Bradford-on-Avon, the group’s home town. The group has also performed several times on request in France and Germany.
