Immediately after electionI was appointed to the Cabinet, with responsibility for Finance, performance and IT.I worked with cabinet colleagues in grappling, successfully, with the financial constraints and development of council services. now, as a backbench member I am involved in Scrutiny work, reviewing service performance, and of course I have a little more time to devote to issues in and around Melksham.
